Catch a Falling Star (Published in the National Geographic story "After Midnight") The skeletons of ancient bristlecone giants reach for the heavens as a fiery meteor skims across the black Colorado sky. The meteor was entirely fortuitous as there were no major meteor showers occurring at the time of capture. |
