Indomitable

In the remote heart of Colorado’s Lost Creek Wilderness a small stunted ponderosa pine clings to life at the fringe of its survivable habitat. The pink granite surface mottled with green lichen provided a beautiful canvass for the tree’s larger-than-life shadow, which, to me, is symbolic of its immense tenacity and spirit.
